About us

Gannan Medical College is located in the famous old revolutionary base-- Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is a full-time general medical undergraduate college organized by the people's Government of Jiangxi Province.Professor Han Jisheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, served as honorary president. The school was founded in 1941 as Ligan County Advanced Midwifery Vocational School in Jiangxi Province. Gannan Medical College was established in 1958. In 1988, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Gannan Medical College. In 2013, the academic degree Committee of the State Council approved it as a master's degree awarding unit. From 2019, it will jointly train doctoral students with Suzhou University and China Medical University.

Length of schooling:

MBBS program: 6 years, including one year premedical program and five years medical education.

Registration requirements
International undergraduate program applicants should hold his/her senior high school transcript of no less than 65% or B grade (valid within two years) . Moreover, subjectslike physics, chemistry, biology and English are no less than 65 % orB grade ofthe total marks
